RECHARGE!
FOR KENT STATE UNIVERSITY
As a graphic designer for Kent State University’s Division of Student Life, I have had a plethora of opportunities to create unique and engaging work. One of my favorite projects was Recharge!, a new on-campus dining location.
I was tasked with creating a visual identity, including a logo, color palette, typographic system, and brand elements, as well as marketing, both digital and physical. Along with that suite of deliverables, I created the site design for the physical location (including wall and column wraps, digital displays, sneeze guard designs, menu boards, and wayfinding) as well as 7 packaging designs. After countless mockups, guidance, and iterations with the university and my boss, I was able to create a fun, fresh, universally appealing identity and location that communicates health and vibrancy.
This project took multiple months and allowed me to grow exponentially in client communication and applying feedback from an art director, as well as applying a brand across a suite of products. Recharge! is a hot spot on campus and is enjoyed by many.
