THE LAIKA EXPERIENCE

The Laika Experience is a developed desktop interface exploring the history, impact, and legacy of Laika Studios at the Museum of Moving Pictures.

I chose Laika Studios as a basis for my museum exhibit website because I was drawn to the challenge of balancing their visual identity while creating one of my own. I chose bright colors that lend themselves to a neo-retro feel, using pink, blue, and green as the main branding and green as the main color for the exhibit branding with blue as a secondary color. These elements combined create a fun, dynamic interactive experience that showcases the exhibit in a fun and compelling way, taking the viewer through Laika’s creations and the influence they continue to have on today’s film industry.
